Induction signs software reseller agreement with System C Healthcare

Induction has signed a non-exclusive software reseller agreement with System C Healthcare for its Induction Zesty product.

Induction Zesty is a digital portal that allows patients to manage their hospital appointments, view their letters and clinical records, as well as provide data remotely via questionnaires from a smartphone.

As part of the agreement, System C will sell Induction Zesty to new and existing customers of its CareFlow electronic patient record (EPR). The non-exclusive agreement covers an initial three-year term with automatic 12-month renewals thereafter.

Induction CEO, James Balmain, said: “We have a long-standing relationship with System C, one of the largest domestic suppliers of EPR software to the NHS, and it is a great step forward to be formally partnered with them under a value-added reseller agreement.

“We are excited to combine forces and support national plans for digital transformation. Patient facing services and patient engagement tools are a much greater focus for buyers than they were just a few years ago.”

CareFlow is currently used in 30 NHS Trusts across the UK and most recently, System C signed a 10-year deal with The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust which will see an integrated EPR being installed.

Guy Lucchi, managing director of healthcare at System C, said: “We are very pleased to be partnering with Induction. The Zesty patient portal is a welcome addition to our integrated EPR offering which will empower patients to receive and view their clinical appointment bookings and letters as well as reschedule and cancel appointments within the portal, via a direct link to CareFlow EPR.”
