Simon Bolton to make first keynote at Virtual Summer School

The interim chief executive of NHS Digital will make his first keynote address on day two of Digital Health’s Virtual Summer School.

Speaking at 9am on Friday 16 July, Simon Bolton will outline the priority areas to deliver on his ambition for NHS Digital “to be at the forefront, driving innovation and developing solutions and new capabilities.” 

The former Test and Trace CIO will be followed by returning Summer School keynote Matthew Gould. The NHSX CEO will take to the virtual stage to address the current and future challenges of NHS digital transformation. 

The means Virtual Summer School delegates will have an exclusive opportunity to hear from two of the most influential national leaders in NHS IT as the health and care systems chart a new policy direction on digital and data.  

Virtual Summer School programme is published 

Packed with keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, big debates and leadership video diaries, the Virtual Summer School programme will examine what the next challenges are on data, collaboration, empowering patients and integrated care.

Fringe announced 

Taking place on 14 July is the Virtual Summer School Fringe which will provide the opportunity to explore in depth some of the emerging themes in digital health and examine topics in more detail. 

Over the course of the fringe there will be four one-hour sessions covering future lessons from the GDE programme, leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation, focus on Femtech and as how and tell on nursing care plans.
